Texas Hill Country Wedding Venues
What are you looking for in your ideal wedding venue? The perfect location? The right ”feel”? The right price? The sheer number of options in the Austin area and Texas Hill Country can be overwhelming. Let us save you some time (and avoid some traffic!) by highlighting a few of our favorite local wedding venues.
Located on 23 acres in Dripping Springs, Ma Maison is a short drive from Austin in the Texas Hill Country. Set against that backdrop, this elegant and European-inspired venue uniquely combines a picturesque beauty with versatility. From a stunning French gazebo named the Green Cathedral to the decadent Grand Hall, Ma Maison offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor options for your ceremony and reception. Here are some examples of our favorite events to be a part of out there!
The VIsta on Seward Hill (VOSH) is one of the vendors we have known the longest at Flora Fetish, and we love working with them. This charming venue is just minutes from the heart of Austin and offers lush, intimate garden settings with views of the surrounding hill country. The main Ceremony Terrace, with its “fire columns” and waterfall, provides a beautiful white stone backdrop, while the iron and stone Courtyard Bridge is the perfect canvas to create your own unique aisle entrance. They also offer indoor and outdoor cocktail and reception options, along with a private garden dinner option for the newly married couple. If you’re looking for a natural look and feel without getting too far outside of Austin, The Vista on Seward Hill should be at the top of your list.
Villa Del Lago is a luxurious mediterranean-themed multi-venue property nestled into the hills above Lake Travis, The main wedding venue, Pavilion & Gardens, provides the perfect space to create your picturesque celebration. As you’ll see in the pictures below, there aren’t enough superlatives in the dictionary to describe the views on offer at Villa Del Lago. Also featuring a magnificent waterfall, manicured lawns and gardens, and stunning architecture, this venue is sure to be your and your photographer’s dream. Check out Connie and Daniel’s wedding below that we had the pleasure of contributing to.
If you’re looking for something more contemporary and chic, look no further than the W Hotel in the heart of downtown Austin. The Terrace provides a unique outdoor rooftop ceremony option with views of the Austin Skyline, while the Great Room presents the perfect modern ballroom for your reception. We also shouldn’t overlook the added perks of the W Hotel itself: a complimentary suite, discounted guest rooms and parking, an onsite pool and spa(!), and its location in the center of downtown Austin. We recently had the privilege of contributing to Regan and Josh’s wedding there and, as you’ll see below, the W Hotel did not disappoint.
